.Net Framework 3.0

The winFX framework which looked like the .Net one is now been renamed to .Net Framework 3.0.
it will be shipped in the next Vista and will be available (as usual) for download from MSDN.
this announcement was made in a rather intriguing manner.

if you read the comments you eventually figure out that this is not really a CLR 3.0 based framework but more kind of an extension to the CLR 2.0 Framework.
This sheds a whole new light.
The installation might be the Framework 2.0 just extended to sport the WCF, WorkFlow etc.
