Past experiance

by yuval on 02/08/2008

This is a list of items I have noticed during a lecture of Stefan Sagmeister on TED talks.
I have manually copied them and made alterations in them to fit my past experiance. The thing that keeps amazing me is the proximity of the list to my own “Personal” thoughts. But as you have probably read in more than a few books the thought of individuality is nice but hardly standing the commonalities between us.
Here is “My” list:
Complaining is stupid. You better act or forget.
Thinking life will be better in the future is stupid. Live now!
Being not truthful works against me.
Helping other people helps me.
Everything I do always comes back to me.
Drugs feel great in the beginning and become a drag later on.
Over time I get used to everything and start taking it for granted. Shake life often. Make a change!
Money does not make me happy.
Travelling alone is helpful for a new perspective on life.
Assuming is stifling.
Trying to look good limits my life.
Worrying solves nothing and limits everything.
Material luxuries are beset enjoyed in small doses.
Having guts always works out for me.

Things I dropped from the original list since I have not done them and have no experience of them:
Organizing a charity group is surprisingly easy.
Keeping a diary supports my personal development
I need to pick the habit of writing a diary….
This will be a good side list i need to maintain. i will get it there soon…
