It seems like the new Vignette CCE (Content Contributer Extensions, God knows why) are becoming very flexible and do retire all the VCMEXT widgets you would normally buy in a project.
It seems like a good idea if you are starting fresh on a project to take a good look at the Demos that come with the CCE installation.
Just a little advice i have to pass by.
