This is the second post in the diaries of tene.
Tene came to us for imprinting to be set at the Haifa Educational Zoo petting yard.
She is going to be one of a few known jackals that are petable.
Tene has grown up a bit and gained more control over her limbs.
She now has more facial expressions and is very very playful.
Tene in Hebrew is a basket it relates to the baskets carried out, during the Jewish holiday “Shavuot”, filled with the spring‚Äôs first fruits.
She was names tene since she was born around that holiday and she was brought to the zoo at the holiday.
That said she developed a very nasty bite.
But she is still so adorable when you hug her.
